Aphrodisias Museum

Aphrodisias Museum was established in 1979 to exhibit archaeological artifacts unearthed from the Ancient City of Aphrodisias located in Aydın. The main purpose of the Aphrodisias Museum is not only to present examples of the rich remains brought to light from the archaeological region to visitors, but also to emphasize the excellence and diversity of the sculptures produced in the workshops in Aphrodisias during the Roman and Early Byzantine periods.
