The Clowns

Hosted at the Sukran Gungor Stage located at the Central address, this new theatrical production is staged by Temasa Performing Arts, written and directed by Serkan Budak. The play centers on the struggles of once-famous stage artists Clowns Suat and Sami as they cope with the weight of being forgotten and profound loneliness.

The cast features Selahattin Taşdöğen, Ferdi Akar, Nurnur Yoldaş, and Buse Demirel, following the characters’ quest to return to their glory days and an unexpected visitor who arrives at their home. The behind-the-scenes technical crew includes Mustafa Algül for lighting design, Nuray Saraçoğlu for costume design, along with Ramazan Kanur and Gökhan Kanur for set design.

Addressing the widespread issue of loneliness in modern times, the production conveys the colorful and cheerful world of two former clowns while creating space for reflection on human relationships. Staged with a rich cast and striking narrative, this theatrical performance awaits art lovers.
