Traditional Drum and Zurna Family Heritage in Aydın

The residence of the Tosun family, located in the Koçarlı district of Aydın, resembles a music conservatory. Father Erman Tosun alongside his two sons, Özcan and Miraç, practice regularly every single day using their traditional drums and zurnas.

Through this daily musical routine, they both perform the profession from which they earn their livelihood and sustain a heritage passed down from father to sons. This deep-rooted craftsmanship handed down across generations is kept alive through continuous home practice.
